Physiotherapy, Sports Injury & Specialist Bike Fit Clinic
1-2-1 Pilates and Online Performance Pilates Classes
Pilates is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.
The focus of Pilates is correct movement, quality not quantity, core stabilisation and postural correction. One of the main benefits of Pilates, from a Physiotherapist’s perspective, is that the technique can be successful in correcting muscle imbalances. These imbalances are caused by us overusing certain muscles whilst others are neglected and become underused.
Online Performance Classes are aimed at runners and cyclists to maximise your performance potential, optimise your recovery from injury, reduce injury risk and help you achieve your goals.
Beginners Class focus on movement and control, working on body awareness with the aim to keep you mobile and active.
We also offer a 1-2-1 face to face 60-minute session in the clinic!
Performance Pilates is designed for fit, healthy and active individuals.
Sessions are tailored specifically to you and the biomechanical requirements of your sport.
